Television and Home Theater

My sister has a z50p3 that started to show some issues with the picture. On dark scenes you can notice a lot of flickering red pixels. They actually show all the time but are more noticable during dark scenes. Ive tried all the inputs and they all have it bluray dvd and cable. Are these signs of a failing tv or has she just not noticed them before. It almost looks like red glitter all over the screen. She has an extended warranty and I would like someones input so I dont hear from the store where she bought the tv that its normal for this to happen. Thanks for the help in advance.

I have pulled the g board replaced 2 diodes 6301 and 6116 if I remember right put it back in made sure I had good connections tried it and still does the same thing did put it into self diagnosis and the zero crossing came up with a number everything else was zero tried clearing codes but same result nothing. Is it pretty easy to cook 6116 trying to solder it in place? This thing has me ready to take a sledgehammer to it   lol.

can anyone help. convergance ic were bad stk392-560.replaced both ics same pic when turned back on. went to g board (power supply) -22  volt pico fuse blown and 1000 uf. cap bulging. replaced both and turned on set now  power supply tuns off by itself. if you try to turn it back on turns off. could conv. ics have been dameged with out -22 volts when i first turned it on.
