Television and Home Theater

My wide screen television is having convergence problems.  When I go to the convergence screen I am unable to adjust the colors.  I have no idea what my next step should be.  Do you have any suggestions for me? 

My Mitsubishi failed this week, after 3 years of great service. Maybe someone can help - The screen ,when switching between DVD and Satellite, displayed a round "Blue" ball with fuzzy edges in the middle of the screen. The Menus would come up and display properly. After a day - the Blue Ball has grown to almost fill the screen and the menu icons seem to flash between their normal colors and their opposite colors. I am capable of replacing boards, etc. - Does anyone have any ideas as to where to start?

Ok I may of caused some additional problems! I had the typical convergence problem and replaced the convergence driver IC's. Prior to me doing this the picture was clear but would fail the touch focus and I could not converge the picture using the remote.

New problems are, remote will not work, picture is real noisy and convergence touch focus still fails.
