New TV ideas

Well, my Mits is dead, looking to get a new hdtv.  I'm looking for something 65" or smaller, and under $3000.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Convergence issues w/ Sony KP-46WT510

My tv was flawless  for  years until the other night when I turned it off w/ the remote.  The next morning when it was turned on the screen was majorly distorted.  The image was shadowed and it bowed down toward the center at the top and up from the bottom. (similar to the shape of a bowtie)  The information posted in these forums has been incredibly helpful in troubleshooting my problem so far but am still having the same problem after replacing the IC's and fuses.

I am in need of KP-57WV600 service manual.

I am looking to see if someone would be kind enough to help me out with kp57wv600 Sony manual.  I understand I have white balance failure, but I am unsure how to fix it from there.

Thank you,

Marie

Mitsu WT 42313 Covergence Confirmation

Hi all, I've been browsing for a while and have a question, more of a verification really.  It seems I've got a convergance issue with my TV.  I cannot manually converge the colors and they are making ghostly images behind the main images.  I've read about replacing the Convergance IC and capacitors.  By looking at these pictures could someone let me know if this is my problem?

I have been reading the post and checking the tv using a service manual and the code for my tv is "21". This is the X-ray protect/deflection circuit board. The symptoms showing is that the RED Color spectrum is arching and out of alignment. I adjusted the red lamp (from the front) to eliminate the red showing if the tv is on and now I need to fix the problem. I am hoping to avoid a service call ($90) plus repair and do it myself. QUESTION: Do I replace the complete DEFLECTION CIRCUIT TO FIX THE X-RAY PROTECT CIRCUIT? wHAT DO i START WITH AND WHERE CAN i PURCHASE PARTS?

Philips 60pp920217 won't power up

Hey,I had a convergence issue where the blue wouldn't move in either direction, pulled board and replaced Stk392-120 with Stk394-160 (Sanyo) I also replaced 6 of the 6.8ohm resistors due to the fact they were discolored, they still read good in the circuit (3.4ohm).  I carefully inspected all the solder points and saw no issues, and carefully replaced all cables, upon attempting power-up, got nothing, no noise, no red led on power switch nothing.  Checked fuse in back, and it
