SONY KDF-E60A20 TV was new 10/25/2005 The TV turns on like normal but after a minute the screen goes black..After a minute, the screen comes back on as if the set was just turned back on(picture dim for a second and then gets bright as normal). Then after a minute it goes black again. This continues to cycle like this over and over. When the picture is on it is a very good picture. I hope you can help.
I have been experiencing the following problems with my WD-52525 TV:
Intermitted blinking timer light. Too long & difficult to reset!
Intermitted blue screen (not so often). Requires reset.
Additionaly, I am noticing the screen is not so bright on B&W movies, compared to simillar TVs (the brightness at max). Do you think I should clean the mirror inside?
Regardless, can you please send me a copy of the Service Manual?
I posted earlier about this issue concerning my tv, but I feel maybe I didn't explain it well enough for someone to comment on it. The issue that I am having is when I am watching a DVD or TV through my digital box I can see lines scrolling through corner to corner as if it were picking up interference from somewhere. To throw another loop into this is that when I am watching an HD channel or playing my xbox 360 the lines do not show up. I ran an extension cord to an outlet on my 2nd floor and still had the lines showing when watching tv or a dvd. Another point
I have a Sony KP-51WS510. I have a display problem on the channel 3, video1 to video 4. The middle upper picture is black and the middle lower picture is freeze. I replaced the two IC STK392-560 on the D Board and all fuses are correct on D board and G board but I have the same problem on these channels. The pictures are correct on video 5 to video 7 as well as the convergence. Do you have a suggestion about the problem (which board or IC I need to check or to replace)?
