Just found this site, hoping for help repairing an Mitsubishi 65903, I was able to find a service manual for this model.

The unit does not come on ,although when you plug it in it does seems to be  trying to take power from the outlet. I saw in another letter that Larry asked if there was any liquid under the tubes,I did find some under the tube(looking from backside under left tube) sitting on top of the P.C board , at first glance I though someone might have spilled something in the tv but you make it sound more involved. 

Having a problem with my Samsung Hcn4226w projection tv. Original problem was no raster which was fixed with new CG Amp bd. Tv works fine but has a green tint around the perimeter of the screen similiar to a degauss problem in a conventional crt tv. Not sure if a projection tv is subject to similiar magnetic problems that require degaussing. Any suggestions.......

After reading many posts in the forums I attempted to repair a connvergence problem on a five year old Sony rear projection KP-57WS500. Prior to the repair I tried using the flash focus on the front panel, but the screen just went blank for a second and returned with the problem. So I obtained the service manual, ordered two STk392-560 ICs from Sony and replaced them without completely removing the D board. Also verified that no adjacent pins on the ICs were shorted.
