I have recently replaced my Philips dlp bulb with a new bulb. The bulb was the right philips bulb for the tv. When I put the new bulb in and turned on the tv the screen was very dim still. I can see the picture have sound but its extremely dark. I have reset the lamp rating and everything. I thought I had a bad lamp so i sent it back and the company sent me a new one. The tv looks exactly the same. It is very dark around the edges of the screen and the picture as a whole is very dim. The colors seem washed out and very dull. 

Ok I am having the weirdest issue. I had the timer blinking light of death so I replaced all the caps on the various boards put everything back together and bam WORKS again however I had no sound so I looked around and saw a connector unplugged and it was underneath a board and I had to take it back apart and get cable out and plug in to get the sound. Well I got it put it all back together and it worked sound was back but now no picture. I have taken this thing apart a million times and reseated all ribbon cables but still can not get picture back. Sound works just fine no error codes.
