Anyone with suggestion on how to fix this problem please answer! TV turns itself off, pops back on, and is stuck in a autochannel search. I think it has something to do with the front panel, but I repair computers not monitors.
I have looked all over for help on this; I really appreciate any assistance.
We are tired of paying $100+ for cable each month, especially when there is so much TV out there that one can stream from the internet (and from Netflix). We are thinking about buying a laptop to do this and our TV has a DVI port. (After a couple of months, we figure that we would have saved enought to buy the laptop).
I have an RCA home Theater package (upconverting DVD & Surround) that i have hooked up to my RCA LCD tv. Both items were purchased brand new less than 2 months ago. The problem that i am having is that the remotes seem to interfere with each other. When i turn the tv on, the DVD player comes on also. Also, while using the DVD remote, if i push the left or right arrows to scroll through DVD menus or try to switch my surround and subwoofer settings, the TV will change inputs or will try to enter an odd channel like 7704.44 for instance.
