Television and Home Theater

I Have a Sony KP-46S17 rear projection TV that turns on then shuts off within a second or two.  When it shuts off, it just sits there with the power light flashing.  I blew it out and vacumed it out and found a glass fuse blown on the D-Board.  (125V - 3.15A)  I replaced it and nothing changed.  Any ideas what it could be?

My husband & I have a Sony Rear Projection. The green color was off and we replaced both ICs. We had a professional solder them and double checked the connections.

And now we have a blank screen. No picture whatsoever. The light does blink and I read somewhere that this can help diagnose the problem. We have 8 blinks when we turn it on. Then four quick blinks and approx. 2 seconds of nothing. Then four blinks again, nothing, etc. What does the four quick blinks mean. Should we just be junking the TV at this point? 

I am looking for a service repair manual for a Mitsubishi model WS55511.  I have looked at all the ones currently available but not that one.  Are any of the ones listed good enough for my TV?  My problem is convergence, I am sure.  There are green and red ghosts and the outside edges bend.  the center of the screen is ok, but the farther out toward the edges you go the worse it gets.  Anyone help?
