Television and Home Theater

I have a panasonic projection model pt47wx51e with some problems; i just replaced both convergence ic with sony stk-150 and i also found resistor R7050 opened and replaced with resistor of the same ohms and watts but it is physically different that i found at local eletronic store. i need to know if that resistor could give my some problem? also can you tell me how to get to the adjustments for the new ic's. my picture is out of wack and the covergence adjustments don't do anything for it. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I have a sharp Aquos 42". My kid hit the screen with a WII remote. Can I replace this? How and where can i get it? If not, how much is it worth for parts?

   that's not vertical ic  but low voltage reg ic, it's amazing what you can do if you find a schematic to work with . sorry for any inconvenience, that post needs to be ignored
