Television and Home Theater

My Mistubishi WS-55909 big screen is 7 years old. The convergence output I.C's were replaced in 2005 for $390.  Now the blue is bowing down about 8 inches in the center of the screen and 6 inches on the left.  It is also bowing up from the bottom 2 inches on the left and 4 inches on the right.

My question is, with it being as old as it is, am I better off just replacing it rather than spending another $400 to $600 getting it fixed when it could just keep breaking down because of its age?

Any recommendations?

I just got this tv knowing it didn't work and thot it was a loose wire but I don't think it is now. When I turn it on it just clicks and shuts back off rite away. If anyone knows what to check that would be a great help thank you again its a hitachi 50ex8k v4h005056 those are the numbers in the model # box thank you

How many gus have used the "toggle switch" fix on the Mits. WD-52525? Could you post any pics or send me a e-mail with this fix? I disconected the FC connector and the TV powered right up. I have replaced 16 caps total on all my boards. So I need to do the toggle switch fix if I can find pictures! email [email protected]
