Problem with TV

I have a Sony k-p-51ws500 when I turn my TV on the screen is red then after a minute it turns off.  Is there any thing I can do besides buying another TV.

Hello, 

I have a Panasonic T.V. model number PT-47WX42F. When I turn the set on there is no picture or sound and the red light blinks 5 times. Anyone have any ideal what this sequence of blinks means?

Sony 32 " TV No video, Audio is fine

I have sony 32" TV, 8 years old.

Now there is no video, but audio is fine. What I need to check. Can you guys give me the troubleshooting guidelines or procedure is much appreciated.

PT-53TW53G Convergence question

I was recently given a Panasonic PT-53TW53G because the previous owner couldn't re-align the lenses. After searching the NET, I decided to take the main board out to see if it was resistors or ICs. The reason I wanted to check it out was that I could adjust the green and blue to my hearts content. I could also move the red vertically, but not horizontally.

magnavox 32 inch HD LCD tv flashing on and off

Greetings

Have a magnavox 32 inch flat screen HD LCD

Recently it started acting up. When I try to turn it on using a DirectTV remote, it's own remote or the button on the set it keeps flashing on and off. It will do this for hours without actually turning on.

When this problem first started it would go on and off for a few minutes before finally turning on. It only happened when I would first try to turn it on.

Then the other night while watching TV it just started going on and off. I haven't been able to get it on since.
