Television and Home Theater

I bought KP65WS500 in 2001 and she's been very good to me until 3 wks ago when she suddenly has red shadowing and bowing mainly at the bottom of the screen. I've tried pressing "flash Focus" and still have it. I haven't tried to do the manual convergence since I've just found out how to do it. The LED flash about 4 times, but when I enter service menu it's all "0" errors. From my research online and following techlore threads, the problem points to faulty convergence chip. Talked w/ TV repair and we're talking $350-400 to repair which I dont have.

the corners of the screen cannot be converged properly
in red. (the upper left and lower right are worst, and only red is
effected)

In the center, say 60% of the picture, the red targets can be moved in both directions, and centered.

The
red targets in the far corners are almost a full width away (below) from the
G/B ones, and do not respond to movement, in either direction.

Looking for help.  Techlore helped fix my blinking green light problem a few months ago, now I need help to fix an intermittent problem which has now turned into a permanent problem.  Started out with what appeared to be a loss of horizontal sync which could be remedied by turning of tv for few sec.  The last time I recycled the tv power it came back with a blue screen.  This lasts for a few min until the "no signal" feature kicks in and shuts the power off.  I let it sit overnight, still get blue screen.  Can anyone help???
