Television and Home Theater

My TV is acting very strange.  With My Direct TV HD DVR, the Pic is perfect.  However, with my PS3, HD DVD,  there are green vertical lines.  Using the standard inputs the lines are Diag. Crossed.

I Switched the inputs on both HD and Standard, but the only way the TV works is with DirectTV HD (on either port), but nothing else.

Any Suggestions?

The original remote  will not turn the TV on . Is the IR  malfunctioned  and if so is it difficult to replace my self because this is a very big tv to move.  How do I access the  IR on the TV

i suspect the flyback transformer is responsible since this model is notorious for this from what i hear.i need help testing the flyback to see if its any good.help with testing for open/shorted internal capacitors in the secondary section.help with testing for shorted internal HV diode in secondary windings.some info on which contacts on the pc board are responsible for the primary/secondary windings.a manual would be nice,also ive visually inspected the capacitors around the flyback and none where bulged or popped,ill test them in a few days when the power drains untill then any advi
