Television and Home Theater

My sony WEGA is not powering on, the standby led is blinking 5 times. This started two weeks back, and it used to occassionally work after being unplugged from the power and started after a while. Today it is not working at all.

Any ideaś... Please help

Have a Sony XBR1 50" rear projection. Previously had "yellow stain" issue which was repaired under extended warranty by Sony due to class action settlement.

Worked fine for about a year, then started having issues powering up. Would blink green 10 or 11 times, then go to red blinks as it shut down. For a while, got it on and kept it on for 3 months straight (!) so it doesn't appear to be heat related once on.

Hello all. I'm new to the tv world and have learned alot through repairing and maintenance of my rptv. It's a phillips 60 inch.

So no I need some help. I got the convergence and picture set up pretty bearable, but I decided to go the extra step and change my fluid. The change went fine, great picture and no problems.... until now.
