Television and Home Theater

Color problems......Went to mute 183 realigned the lines as good as I could and press save lbut will not hold after i tun off tv, and today will not hold even if I leave the tv on .....If I need a repair man what part do I nee and what should I be expected to pay for the total job ??? Thanks Gabe

I have been given a Mitsubishi VS-5052 projection tv with the original remote. I was told the remote was working but hasn't worked for me since I got it. Changed batteries, still the only thing the remote does is the volume control. Is it possible to get another remote for this tv? or would a universal remote work for switching between the inputs?

When I turn my sony on the screen comes on with a blue screen. There are light blue lines across the screen.  There is also the DVD input label in the upper left corner of the screen.  No sound. Then the set turns off and the standby light blinks 8 times.

I have heard different reports on it meaning the D board needs replacing and others that say it is the sound board. I had a repair man call me back after he checked it out claiming to have to do research on the internet for this model in order to find the problem. He said that it was going to cost $500.00 to fix.
