Magnavox LCD TV Main Menu Lock

My Magnavox 17in LCD TV (17MF200V/17) shows message "Attention OSD Main Menu Locked" everytime I press any button on the TV or on the Remote. The power button is the only one that works. I can not get to any menu selection at all to change anything. The default code 0711 does not work. Is there any hard reset button inside the TV or other way to resolve this?

Anyone Familiar with "Supre-Macy" TV Set?

Manufactured by Macy's (yep,THAT Macy's!)... the one I recently acquired was made in 1980.I would like to know if it is possible to hook up a VCR Player to it. It doesn't have ANY connections in the rear of the cabinet. Is this too hard to "upgrade" or CAN IT BE DONE easily?? Thanks,Lorenzo

Our Samsung Flatpanel TV is only a year old, yet it the picture and sound will go away after it has been on for an hour, the power doesn't turn off, and the red standby light and green lamp light will blick. By clicking the TV power on button the picture and sound come back. We then power off the television wait a few seconds and turn it back on, everything is fine but will go off again after about an hour. It seemed to start after we hooked up our Direct TV TiVo Any ideas why this is happening.

GE 20" won't turn on

I have a GE 20". Sorry, I don't have the model # available right now. Problems started when the tv wouldn't turn on using the remote (I had to use the button on the tv itself.) Volume, channels, "power off" all still work via remote; batteries are fresh. Then it wouldn't even turn on using the button on the tv, no click or anything. If I unplug from the power outlet and plug it back in, it will turn on, at the tv, for maybe 4-5 uses. It still turns off via the remote (but not on).
