Television and Home Theater

I have a tru flat tv dvd vcr combo just under three years old. The screen recently went black but we still have sound. If the picture tube has gone bad does anyone know how much it costs to fix? We have already unplugged it to reset and that didn't fix the problem

The sound to my tv cuts out sometimes. But then it comes back on after a bit. Pretty simple to troubleshoot for you experts, right?
So what do I do?

Help! New member in trouble. I have given a LXI big screen TV. Its 10 yrs or more and has been working fine. Yesterday when turned on only got a faint blue background and sound. channel will change we can hear the new channel.(have direct tv.) After bieng on for hours we turned off and back on and got the normal picture. Today it happened again and wont come in no matter what. When manualy changing chanell the indicator shows 2 colors for the numbers like a color shadow. VCR will not show picture either. Anyone ever seen this? Ugly bug
