Television and Home Theater

Hi,
This is MJ. My question, After turning on my tv this morning, I was watching a movie and then all of the sudden, the sound was completely gone except for static. Help me! I went through the TV menu, and nothing helped.

I have a MAG LT916s Model #900P monitor and it has started going to a black screen.It will boot correctly but once in Windows it will just go black. If you turn it on and off it will come on for a few seconds and then go black again. I am running Windows XP media center edition. The computer and monitor are only three months old. I have adjusted the power save to never for the monitor. I hooked up an old monitor, an EV700, and it works just fine. What do I need to do to fix this? Thank you in advance for your help.

Iown an 8 yr old 31" RCa ColorTrax, recently the volume shoots right to max. and is unbearable, It seems as though I am in contest with some one else as I use the remote to bring the volume down, the tv counteracts to my moves. Once when I (STOOD) on the remote to keep volume suppressed, the counter move stood on the volume to max. In a time bracket trial of mine only certain hours were a problem usualy evenings. Any ideas? could the volume (switch be stuck) could someone be using the same freq.? could a powerful transmitter be overriding my signal(fire station ,police?
