Sharp LCD Model #52D64U - No Power

I am trying to help a friend fix his Sharp Aquos LCD (52D64U) that has not turned on since being plugged in during a lightning storm.  I checked the power supply board and everything is reading normal in the Primary Section.  The only thing coming out of the Secondary Section is a 2.5V lead to the board for the power button.

I would really appreciate some help narrowing down the source of the problem (or if it's even repairable).  Is it possible that there is a short in the line coming from the power button causing nothing to happen when button is pressed?

New Sansa Fuze+ V.S. New iPod: simple review and how to enjoy DVD/Video easily

Apple has enjoyed an undeniable stranglehold over the $100+ portable media player market for years now—it's pretty much been iPods and also-rans. The budget realm, however, has never been Apple's strong suit, and SanDisk and other manufacturers make players that outperform the iPod Nano and iPod shuffle. The Sansa Fuze+, an update to 2008's Sansa Fuze ($130), comes in 4GB ($79), 8GB ($89), and 16GB ($119) flavors. One of the Fuze +'s key features: video playback.

MITSUBISHI WS-65611 CODE 21

Hello, I am a new member with a problem with my WS-65611 tv. Read alot of the treads and tested for codes. Code is 21 after pushing menu and device buttons for the 5 seconds. The tv will stay on and get a good picture after unplugging overnite for about 5 minutes and then shuts itself off. Hitting the front panel power button will turn on tv but it immediately turns off. By the way, Downloaded service manual from another site as I could only get front 2 pages from yours after multiple tries and I see others have same trouble.

Mitsubishi WD52525 No Video - Sound OK

Replaced the "normal" bad caps on the Power, DM and FMT board as well as 2 caps on the terminal 1 board. Hooked everything up, still had blinking light so di dthe switch mod on the FC connector. The TV now starts up, I see the menus fine, can see pictures through the card reader but have no video coming through the inputs but the sound does come through.

Do any of you Mits techs have an idea where to go to from here. I did open the chassis back up to check for a missing connection on a board but found nothing.

Thanks,

Hedhunter

XP 46WT510 need location of D & G boards

I don't have any service manual

but want to check soldering on D and G boards.

Looking at the set back I see left of center two upright

heat sinked boards. Way left I see a board going

front to back.  Where are the d and G boards?

Do they unplug?

Thanks

George
