Television and Home Theater

My picture goes out from time to time. I hear a click,turn it off for a while and I here another click and I turn it on and it works;some times.Repair or buy new.

My Tv has 2 thick gray/blk lines to the right of the center of the screen. This Tv is only 14 months old. It also has a fine thin red line to the left of the center. I am posting pics of the screen. Can any one help.:(

is it safe to play saga master system or any video games for that matter on the hitachi ultravision digital 57" 50v500a?
i think it's projection, but not sure and i can't find the manual so if anyone has info about it, it would be greatly appreciated. cause shit man, to play safari hunt on 57" you can't lose!
