Television and Home Theater

I have a LCD Projector that I use with my laptop computer and all of a sudden if there is RED on the computer screen it will appear as BLACK on the Projection Screen. I have tried to change the contrast controls but still not luck. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it!

I have a Samsung UW-21J10VD television with DVD and video built in.

It has A/V sockets on it and I frequently connect it using an A/V wire to my Sony Handycam DCR-HC19E .

I have seen before that it is possible to export from VHS played on a television to the DV tape on the camera. Will this be possible from my Samsung TV to the DV camera?

(I want to record the content of the VHS onto the DV tape in the camera). I have had a go but I can't get the VHS output to appear/record on the camera.

This morning I switched on my Sony TV and the picture was washed through with a yellow tinge. Now I've switched it on again after letting it rest its got a bright red / neon vibrant red washing throughout the whole screen. The image is fine when I watch dvd's - can any one suggest source of problem. I'm in the uk and the TV signal is a cable signal through Homechoice provider down the phone line.
