Philips 60 inch projection TV....HELP!

I was given a large (huge) Philips projection tv. I have no manuals, no info and no history on this tv. I can't even find a model number. It measures approx. 60 inches diagonally and has red, green and blue lens pointed at a large mirror in the back. Numbers found on the inside of the cabinet are 313503750081 and 31350375055. One sticker says it was manfactured 8/16/01. I can only assume that this is a 60 inch projection tv????? I picked up a universal remote which seems to work most of the features--of course I don't know for sure because I can't identify what model it is and what it's supposed to do! From my internet research I think I can safely say the convergence is off....way off and the remote will move the crosshairs up and down but not side to side. The only local repair shop wants me to bring it to them.....not going to happen.....I nearly died keeping it from flipping over in the back of the truck on the way home! I've taken the back completely off and played with the rgb "guns". The blue one has a easily accessible ring that I assume will focus it, but as to how else to correct the convergence......I'm lost. As I said, it was given to me, so I don't really want to spend a bunch of $$ on it, but I hate to roll it out to the ditch as well!

Help!

Thanks in advance!

Lol been there before. The

Lol been there before. The ringS you are talking about is a rough convergence ring it should not be TOUCHED!!! Because when/if you fix the problem if you have adjusted those rings for the electron beam it will be off center after you fix the actual problem. If you leave it where it is and fix the actual problem it should be set close to perfect. Really need a chassis or model # but not exactly necessary. Look on the big heatsinks-metal with a lot of cooling fins on it, somewhere on the power boards there should be some black chips attached to this heatsink with letters and numbers something like this STK 392-110 those chips are your problem. Let me know what the numbers are on your chips and I can provide you with a link to replacement parts.
