I have a Sony that has just stopped turning on- no sound, picture, anything (this did happen after a storm where power went on and off, even though I have a surge protector. Not sure if that is related or not). When I press the power button, the green light blinks for about 10 times, but then it all shuts off and the red standby light will blink 9 times and continously repeat itself. What is wrong and how can I fix this?
Service Manual wasnt any help, it said call sony if the light is blinking.... You could try resetting it by holding down the reset button on the remote then push the power button on the tv.
Yeah, tried reseting but didn't help me. Still at a lose for what is wrong (what that blinking code means) and how to fix it.
