I was watching the tv lcd monitor when it went out and the power light blinked and went out switched it on again and the power light blinked then went out tryed the source button and same thing
The lcd tv monitor is samsung syncmaster 730mw
Could some one please tell me what the problem could be

The problem is in the power supply as a lot of the samsung syncmasters range use under value caps and the problem is that they use 10 volt 1000uf so check if you see any 10volt caps and change them to 16volts at 1000uf and you will find you will be up and running again.

Checked the power supply and their was only 2 caps c109,c110 10v at 1000uf unsolder and went down to the to buy new ones i asked the service man to test
them and both were done .023uf fitted new ons in and unit working fine.
The caps on top were no sign of buldge and looked normal
