Mitsubishi WS-65511 won't stay on

I have a 5 to 6 year old Mitsubishi WS-65511 projection tv that I hope someone can help with. The convergence chip went out about two weeks ago. I replaced it, found two of the 3.9 ohm 2 watt resistors blown that I replaced and checked the two pico fuses that were ok. The unit ran great for two days then it decided not to stay on. When I push the on button, the green light comes on for about three seconds like normal, you can here the tv start to fire up like normal then after the three seconds, I can here it shut down and the green light flashes rapidly for about 15 times, 6 seconds. Then the tv tries to fire again by itself and keeps repeating the same cycle. If I unplug the tv set for a while and try it again, it also does the same. I checked the codes on the unit by pressing the menu, device button for 5 sec and it flashes 12 which according to the manual, checks out ok. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If can open the front of the st and look carefully at the signal board you may find fluid from one or more of the picture tubes leaked.
The tubes are still good and you can clean the board but you may find the board has tiny griplets connecting the top and bottom that need to be re-soldered or possibly hand wired also.
If you have leaky CRT's then run a drip tray like a gutter on your house so the fluid runs off to the side and drips in a safe place.
Hope this helps.
That's how the factory does it.
