KP-46wt500 convergance problem

Colors went out of alignment and it looks like I need to replace the STK392-560 IC. How do I unplug the HV cables from the D board? The service manual shows 90 degree twist and pull but no luck. Last thing I need to do is replace a broken cable.
Also, any body know the specs on the IC link (pico fuse)? I can get picos from Digikey but are they a just a fast-blow 3.15 amp fuse or is there something really special about them?
Thanks
Jim

I have simular model with the 90 degree twist and pull back and it didnt work just like your saying.

So I was fiddling with wire and found out you can push it in and turn it and it should come out. There should be no resistents to the wire coming out its on the twist that its kinda hard.

This is what your trying to unlock by twisting when pushed in it should pop out of slot then as you keep pushing you turn. ClickHere

Got the wire out and replaced

Got the wire out and replaced the STK392-506 ICs and didn't find any blown fuses.
I have a good picture but the diagnostic light flashes 4 times when I turn the set on which is supposed to indicate "vertical deflection stopped". I wouldn't think the picture would be good. Is this really a problem or do I need to reset the self diagnostic function? I tried to reset per the service manual but it still flashes when I turn the set on. Self diagnosis screen doesn't show any problem with "V stop" (0 shown).
Thanks
