I have a Mitsubishi WD-60735 TV and I ordered a New Lamp to replace my fading lamp. I put the new lamp in, turned it on and the TV worked great. Reset brightness and contrast and then turned the TV off headed out for a couple hours and when I came back, the TV would not turn on. It acted as if it wanted to go but the red indicator came on as if the lamp was no good.
I put the old lamp in and the TV worked. I put the new lamp back in the following day and the TV worked fine again. Watched TV for the afternoon and then after shutting off and then back on a few hours later, the lamp would not come on.
Does anyone think this is just a bad replacement lamp I got or is there some incompatability with the new lamp. At the moment the old lamp is in and working, although the TV is very dim because it clearly needs to be replaced
