I have A Samsung TV Model HL-P5663W 56". I experienced a loud squealling sound originating from the lamp - projection board. I have replaced both cooling fans, no change. I have a flashing "lamp" amd "Timer" light on the power button located on the front, bottom, center. Should I replace the Lamp unit next?
You have a defective color wheel. There are YouTube videos on replacing this part.
Part no. BP96-00674A. I would rate this a difficult repair for a beginner.
