LG- 42lb1dr

my tv is about 2yrs old, recently it has lost picute and sound. the tv is still on. I tried unplugging it to reset, i will have sound and pic for about 5 min then blank again. Any ideas of what it can it be?? and is it worth it to get it fixed?

10:05 AM shawn edwards: I was told the manager had the power to approve extending the warranty and they needed to be asked for a decision...if this was a blanket policy this whole process was a sham
