first off I want to thank dwray and alnp you guys are great.
I have a hitachi 55ex1k that was thrown away because it took too long for the screen to come on sometimes up to 20 minutes. It always did come on and it worked good when it did but definitly had a problem. I brought it home and took the back off of it and pulled the convergence board out and couldn't find anything wrong. I turned it on and it worked fine. After turning it on and off a dozen times and waiting for it to cool and doing it again I realize that it is doing good. I went to the convergence screen and it is not a perfectly straight line across the screen could this be a convergence chip that is going out or some other problem. Are there any test I can do to verify the problem is in the chips.
