We bought this TV in March of 2006, in the past month or so, the color on the screen is a yellow tint, mostly on the right side of the screen. Adjusting the color, tint, brightness, does not help at all. Anyone have an idea of what this problem is?

I actually received an email from sony esupport that informed me that this model which was discontinued in 2007 has had major issues with the optical block. Sony has an extended limited warranty for people that bought this model that have this issue. They can go the the website and find the article, there is also a class action lawsuit regarding this model and the 60 inch model.
FYI- there are no smokers in our house!
Thanks for checking. I have an appointment with a Sony certified repair center to come out to look at it next week. If it is determined that my issue is the result of a bad optical block then Sony will pay for the parts and labor to repair it....
