Well, let me start by saying DAMNIT! I just replaced picofuse04 and my free tv was working but with convergence issues. Upon more reading I found out the ic's are probably bad. Of course I wanted to see the ic's and make sure they were properly seated and forgot to unplug te tv. When i unscrewed the metal piece they are greased to, I saw a quick bright flash, duh, and now it wont even let the green light come on. Where do i go from here?? HELP!
Sorry, its a mitsubishi hd 2002 year 55" widescreen. Please guys the wife wants it out of the house if I dont get it fixed again. We were both so stoked until I shorted it.

Which pico-fuse did you replace? Have you checked all of them now? or yet? There are several to check. The first thing you must remember when working with electronics, unless you wish to go to an early grave, is SAFETY!!!!. You must MAKE SURE that the set is not plugged in to the wall as you can get seriously killed from these TV sets. You are lucky you did not get burned or thrown against the wall. Or start a fire!
Larry, I found a blown 10 amp 125v glass fuse I am gonna replace. where do I get the numbers for the convergence replacements?
The IC's are marked on the board as IC8C01 and IC8C02, they are STK392-570. You can get those from Here http://www.electronic-repair-kits.com/index.html
well, I finally replaced the fuse and installed new convergence IC'S. I still cant get this thing to converge. the pic is split pretty bad. It does come on though. I ohm tested the other pico fuses I see and they are ok. Any suggestions Larry???
