blinking light

Larry, i fixed the problem with the blinking light when turning on the tv, but now when i turn off the tv it shuts down. then the blinking light starts again but only slower and for about a minute it blinks then shuts off totally. i have the power saving mode on so when the tv is started it is normal to blink for a minute, but never saw the blinking light when you turn off the tv. any help would be appreciated. ajy
