When I turn on my Sanyo 42" Plasma TV, the screen turns on and off (the audio continues uninterrupted) and the screen doesn't show the picture -- it shows "snow" in color (white, blue, red, green, yellow etc). When i got the tv, there was no picture at all. I changed the x-main board after I found a transistor on it that wasn't working and the Drive YB(UP) board that looked damaged. These fixes got me to where I am now -- with the screen turning on and off.
I changed the main signal board (the same board that you plug all of your video and audio connections - PWB MAIN J3TR), but it didn't fix the problem. There's an error light blinking on the PDP board (the LED 2000 light) and the error light on the Power Supply board is also on (solid, not blinking). I think the problem is probably in the PDP board but really I don't have enough experience to be sure if it is the PDP. This is a hobby for me. I've fixed a lot of older tv's, but this is my first plasma.
Any ideas?
