Your problem could be bad

Your problem could be bad power supply capacitors or maybe bad convergence IC's. You will need to get a service manual and start checking your voltages in standby as well as the switch supplies. In the main power supply are two smaller fuses that do not look like fuses. They are solder right onto the board. They will be marked on the printed circuit board as F9A04 and F9A05. Check these for continuity. If you find one or both to not have any continuity, DO NOT replace the bad fuse(s) without FIRST replacing the convergence IC. The convergence IC's are mounted standing up against a large metal plate called a heat sink. They maybe facing the opposite way when looking at the rear of the TV set. I'll tell you what, I will be a nice guy and upload the factory service manual for you to download from the technicians corner here at techlore.com. The manual is located HERE. If you do not understand how to solder and work on printed cuircuit boards, play it safe and find a friend to help you or call in a pro to assist you with this repair. GOOD LUCK!

I have a VS 60111 with the blinking green light. I have read the threads on all the other models about removing the DM board but this one does not have a dm board. Should I check the pico fuses and replace the IC'c. Also, I can't see how to remove the ribbon connector that connects the other boards and I assume this is possible. Do you normally remove this board the replace the IC's. Can I buy these parts on line.
