I'm still having problems here. I have changed the 2 ic's and a 5-amp pico fuse on the G board. The bow-tie effect is gone but now when I go to manual converge the red will only move up and down but not left to right.
The screen looks good toward the center and then pulls towards the sides.
When I turn it on I get 4 flashes on the front panel. The service manual says 4 times means Vertical Deflection stopped. How do I go about fixing this thing?????

Seems like we are having a similar problem. I changed the 2 ic's and a pico fuse. Problem is still there, red has the bow tie effect, I can ONLY move the red left and right but not up and down. It almost seems as if I reached the limits of these adjustments and need to adjust them some other way first. BTW, I also get the #4 blinking code. Anyone one with ideas?
