I have a phillips 50" projection tv and the screen has a red cast to it and it almost looks like the picture is melting. It is very blurry and has a lot of red in the color. It just started doing this. I am not sure if I want to put money into it or not. It is 6 yrs old.
Your discription doesn't help me very well, can you post a picture of the problem?
I had it repaired this weekend. It was the IC's He replaced the blue and green. He also told me later on down the road I should replace the coolant in the tubes. He says the picture will be even crisper if I do that. Thank you for the reply though.
