The TV out coaxial connector was torn out of the back of my VCR. I tried to repair it but it looks like I need to replace the whole assembly. Where can I find the part and what is it's description so I can locate it on a parts list? Lastly where do I purchase the assembly?

The part you need is called an RF converter. I'll try to get you the part number.

I can't find any leads on this and am not seeing any comments. Should I assume the VCR is dead? If it were my own I would chuck it, but it is work I'm doing for a friend. I think the best advice is it is time to upgrade to DVD!
