I have a Mitsubishi WS-48613 that is approximately 4 years old. Before I got the blinking green light problem I lost my video on all inputs.
It used power on and the picture would waver for about a minute or so and then lock in. Last week I powered it on and had no picture. I tried different inputs, but with no success. The screen was black with wavering rainbow colored lines scrolling up the screen.
I removed the back to see if there was an obvious problem and then I got the blinking green light. I replaced the 4 caps and the blinking green light problem has been solved. I still do not get any video on any input. The black screen has gone away and I get a blue screen now. After about 10 mins I get a message about not receving a signal and the TV powers off, which I know is a safety feature.
My question is where is the signal interrupt? I took out the Video Input board, but did not find any problems. I assume there is a problem with the Input Board, the Doubler, or the entire tuner board.
Any ideas?
Thank you
I have the same model tv and cannot reset the tv after the 1 minute green blinking light. No audio / or video either. Anyone with suggestions or any help will be appreciated. Thanks! I can be emailed at [email protected]
