lxi display problem

i have an older tv, lxi 1989 and i lost the remote. i had tried to fix the sharpness of the screen by touching the "function" button which is the menu button. it worked but after i did that the display came up and won't shut off. it is a list of features that scroll down the screen. it's very annoying please someone help me!!!!!!!!!! thankyou
