I just bought a 50 inch Samsung DLP/HDTV. Should I buy the warranty? I hear most warranties aren't needed or used because the tv just last longer. Is it worth the extra money? Its 4 yrs for $ 200.00 Any info is appreciated.

The quality of Samsung DLP sets has really gone down hill the past couple years. I would definitely invest in that extended warranty.
Oh for sure. An extended warranty on any large purchase on a TV set like this should pay for itself. Find out what is all covered though. Some extended warranties will cover the bulb but not the service call or vise versa. Make sure you are aware on what you are getting coverage for. See if there is a cost of replacement in case parts are not available or the set is not feasible to repair.
