delayed picture

I have a rca rear projection tv model# P529379G, the sound comes right on but the picture takes 3 to 5 min to show up,can someone tell me what I can do to solve this problem? thanks in advance.

Part of me wants to say: Get

Part of me wants to say: Get a new TV!!! But...

It sounds like there is a "warm up" problem. I would look for bad solder connections in the high voltage area.
