I have a sony KDF-E55A20 and it will power on for about 45 seconds and then off for 45 seconds and then off and on till I turn it off. There is a red code of 5 flashing.

Does anyone have any suggestions?????? Please HELP...................

Your ballist went bad for

Your ballist went bad for your lamp. you should change both the ballist and the lamp togther. Sony recommends this, since the lamp could have caused the ballast to become dammaged.
