Problem with Philips smart series model 19pS54 C125

Hi everyone, I just aquired a 1998 Philips Smart Series 18 inch TV.

The TV has one set of AV ports on the back and I have my XBOX plugged into the back of them.

The issue I am having is there is no way to access the AV ports on the TV. I am only able to get channels 1-125. I have tried messing with it in the menus and cannot figure out how to read the video port. There is no video button on the front of the tv or on the remote, and simply scrolling from channel 1 down to 125 doesnt bring up the AV.

This is driving me crazy!

Thanks !!

Dear Flabu,

Dear Flabu,

I wish I had the answer to your problem, and I hope you got your answer.

Can you help me? I just bought that model (Philips-Magnavox 19ps54 C125) but no user's manual. Can you email me the MFG code # for programming the remote?

Thanks!

Fred

Press menu, then press channel down till you see input then press volume + to select EXT1 and you are in !

Instead of using the code, look in your remote instructions to use the manual search proceedure. Most if not all universal remotes have it. You know, the one that you go through this proceedure and then keep hitting the power switch till the set shuts off then hit enter.
