Just wanted to thank you for all your help in resolving the trouble we had with our Sony KP-57HW40. (http://www.techlore.com/forum/thread/... ).
I contacted PTSCorp as you suggested on September 7th. They ran a bit behind in getting the replacement board to us, seems their Sony department was backed up. 
The "new" G board arrived today and was installed within 15 minutes. The television is up and running (for the first time in weeks).
