We bought a Panasonic DMR-EX75 dvd recorder in December 2006. It's been great up to last night when the handset stopped talking to the recorder. It will turn on and off but that's about all. I keep getting an odd message on the display SP28:54, but that does not appear in the list of error codes. I've changed the batteries in the handset, I've disconnected the power supply to try to reset the whole thing but it's just not happy. It won't play any pre-recorded DVD or any home recorded ones. It won't access anything recorded on the hard disc or let us into Functions. If I press either the Guide or Direct Navigator keys I get the SP message . Has anyone got any ideas? I'm currently waiting for the store it was bought from to get back to me as it is still under guarantee (fortunately).
