Hi, I require some help. I recently bought the above mentioned LCD TV on Ebay cheap as it had what was described as a slight fault. Basically when you turn it on it is dim in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. It stays like this for a while then anytime between 5 mins and 5 hours it will turn off. The picture completely disappears but the sound can still be heard. Any help would be appreciated.
Is this a European brand?
Sounds like you've got a problem with the lamps, possibly a bad inverter board which unfortunately are a part of the LCD panel in most cases.
Erae TV's are produced by Samsung. Is it a big job to get repaired? Expensive? Should I possibly look at buying a new TV?
You'll never find anyone that can find information and more importantly, parts for that one.
Stick with name brands when buying any LCD or Plasma. The amount of product support for those off brand, badged manufacturers sets is slim or none.
