32" rca entertainment series x-box ready, i believe the model is F32650.
the tv was working fine last night, but it wouldnt turn on today. neither the remote or front button on the TV have any effect. If I unplug it and plug it back in, I hear the normal sound as if it is about to turn on, but it never actually turns on , instead the light on the power button flashes 3 times then stops.
any information would be greatly appreciated.
I have a similar problem with mine, but it's a different model, mine is a P52923, but there is no noise coming out of mine. Just a small spark when i plug it back in. If you have an idea of what happened i'd love to hear it.
This is the same thing I'm experiencing. Does anybody know what this is about??
The first 6 digits of the model number are F32650. It's the entertainment series and a 32. The green light on the power button slowly flashes 3 times like it's trying to come on but it never does. Thanks.
I've seen several things with this chassis, first does it make a high pitched noise when you plug the set into ac power? If so it's your flyback and output transistor gone bad. On this chassis only use the original rca output, I"ve had no luck with trying a knock off transistor on this set. But this set will also blink 3 times if someone has cranked the screen control up to high! I've seen several were kids hooking up video games in the back of the set turn the screen control up and cause the tv to shut down.(any kids with games?) also capacitor cp23 change to 4.7 microfrad 50volt for this shutdown condition.
i have a small child that likes to play with the remotes and my brother recently hooked up popcorn hour to the tv a few days before it died (it's worked since then though). wonder if either of those could've done it...Thoughts? thanks for your help by the way.
How do I check to see if it's the screen control?
