problem with panasonic tv CT-20G21

This TV is 10 years old.   The top is curving over the picture and causes 8 or 9 horizontal lines to appear at the top of the screen.   The heads of people on the screen seem to bend over the top and come down on the screen.  The affected area grows smaller after the set warms up.

Is there any way to adust for this inside or in the back of the TV (have not moved the set yet due to its present tight fit in the enclosure of the cabinet)?

       Thank you,

No I'm afraid you have a

No I'm afraid you have a vertical drive or vertical sweep falure.  Most likely, a small capacitor, and/or the vertical output IC.  At 10 years old, It most likely will not be worth the trouble, because yes, while this could be a simple and inexpensive repair, there are alot of other capacitors and parts that will be drying out as well.  The repair on this TV set should not run you over, 75 to 100 bucks.  Good Luck and let us know what you decided with this TV set.
