I have a 27" Mitsubishi TV model CS 2610C (1989. When the power is turn on (cold) it make a humming noise for a few minutes. Otherwise, the video and audio are perfect It is not influenced by adjustment of the volume. How can I fix it ? Please help. I do not want buy a new TV. Thanks.
You have most likely bad capacitors in the power supply and this problem will only get worse with time. If you do not have an ESR capacitor checker or have any solid state repair experience, it is time I'm afraid to buy a new TV set, as this one is already way over 20 years old. They do not last usually this long my friend and you most certainly got your moneys worth out of it. Good luck
